March 16, 2012- Markets Edge Higher on Consumer CPI Data

A good report and the markets edge higher on thinning volume as we approach June 2008 resistance levels at 1,440 for the S&P index. Technically, markets are clearly over-bought and fueled by economic news to hitting new highs, but this is even slowing down as gains are limited. We are now at key resistance levels for both momentum and RSI indicators that provide a solid 12-months of benchmark data. Time to be "Cautious" and looking for early indications of a pullback.

Delivering Consistent Returns
