March 27, 2012- Markets Decline on Housing Weakness

US Housing prices reported lower than expected edging the markets lower retreating from new 52-week highs. Energy stocks pulled back global impacting world stocks. Technically, volume is thin as markets trade in a narrow range looking for signs of a break-out. The VIX broke through trend and channel resistance today and is now a Rising Bearish momentum giving way to potential market pullbacks as tension builds with a lower US Consumer Confidence report earlier today.
