October 23, 2019- Stocks Edge Higher Amid Weak Earnings

Following the pullback seen late in the previous session, stocks showed a lack of direction over the course of the trading day on Wednesday. The major averages spent the day bouncing back and forth across the unchanged line. The choppy trading on Wall Street came as traders digested the latest batch of earnings news from big-name companies like Boeing (BA) and Caterpillar (CAT).
