October 16, 2020- Stocks Rise as Retial Sales Beat

Following the pullback seen over the three previous sessions, stocks may move back to the upside in early trading on Friday. The major index futures are currently pointing to a higher open for the markets, with the Dow futures up by 132 points.

Early buying interest may be generated in reaction to a report from the Commerce Department showing much stronger than expected U.S. retail sales growth in the month of September.
